As a kid growing up in the early 50's into the early 70's when it was summer I would spend 1/2 my summer with each set of grandparents down on the farm. Little did I know back then that their way of life would in fact provide many answers for me. People now pay money to learn what I did as a kid what a root cellar is and what it's for or a wood fired oven, canning and preserving what is local the list is long.
So join me in exploring ways to live green even in a city and how to get in touch with your food sources and bring back the butcher, baker and candle stick maker.
I was a Hippie and know what we were a head of our time. We were all about living Green.

Sustainable Living is now a Public Network! I have had to sit and really think out what I wished to do here and now have time to devote a clear vision of this network. Expect more changes in the next few weeks as I better tune in this site.

Since going public we have made some new friends over at Save Our Planet. I've made personal contact with the site owner Wally and hope to be contacting him next week for an IM interview to expand upon his ideas.
